Monday Evenings for Adults
Adult Discipleship: New Christians, New Members
If you are new to the Church of the Redeemer, new to the Episcopal Church, new to the Christian faith, or if you just want to grow in, learn more about, or explore the faith and the Episcopal Church, at the same time meeting new friends, then these are opportunities for you!
ALPHA is 15 teachings, giving a practical presentation about the Christian faith, that offers answers to some key questions about life. For more information please pick up one of the bulletins in the tract rack at the back of the church, or ask around the parish and talk to people who have attended. ALPHA is held once in the fall and once in the spring. Details will be found in the Sunday bulletin and in the newsletter. This class is highly recommended for new Christians, new members, and any who might have questions. Contact Father Rick Marsden
for more information.
The Inquirers Class is an eight-week presentation about the particularities of the Episcopal Church tradition. A logical progression from the Alpha course, you will learn about liturgy, history, rule of life, and other important aspects of living life as a Christian in the Anglican tradition. The Inquirers' Class meets twice a year -- Fall and Spring -- on Mondays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. If you intend to be received into this communion or intend to receive the sacrament of Confirmation as an adult, this course of instruction is required. Call Carolyn Peet in the parish office, 955.4263, to register.
Wednesday Offerings for Adults
Adult Education Series on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 pm follows the LOGOS program for children. Offerings will include Bible studies, marriage enrichment classes, and more. Consult the Sunday bulletin or call the parish office for details.
