IN SARASOTA
Resurrection House - A day resource center for the homeless
Caritas Food Pantry - Provides food and necessities for the needy
Prospect House - Provides support services for individuals coping with mental illness in programs designed to reduce and prevent the need for hospitalization
Sarasota Council of Concern - Our donation helps fund swim lessons for second graders
Charis Center - A family counseling service; our own Fr. Marsden is on the board of directors.
Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center - Offers free pregnancy test and ultrasound to women of all ages facing an unplanned pregnancy. Clothing, furniture and infant supplies are provided to mothers for up to one year after giving birth
Family Promise of Sarasota - Works closely with Resurrection House to help homeless families find jobs and accommodations while providing a safe environment for their children
All Faiths Food Bank - Provides food for the needy
Children First - Delivers a variety of nutritional, medical, and educational services for children
Literacy Council of Sarasota - Tutors adults who want to improve their reading and writing as well as those needing help speaking and comprehending English
Salvation Army F.A.I.T.H. Program - Offers homeless families a rent-free apartment and a one-year structured program to assist them in becoming self-sufficient
The Pines of Sarasota - We provide playground equipment for children in the day care center, such as new bikes, dramatic play equipment and smocks for painting

Rector’s Discretionary Fund - Monthly donation
Member Crisis Fund - Provides assistance to needy members of Redeemer
Hispanic Ministry - We give Fr. Lampert and Doris Schweppe financial support to help their work in the Hispanic community
St. Michael’s Conference - We help subsidize Redeemer children who could not otherwise afford to attend
Book Grants - Helps defray expense for both youths and adults, either presently pursuing higher education or seeking to further their education in order to reenter the work force
IN OUR DIOCESE
Sara Howell Memorial Fund - The Fund offers financial assistance to women in the diocese who seek entry or reentry into the job market
Kamp for Kids - A camping ministry for kids with incarcerated parents
IN THE UNITED STATES
Angel Flight Southeast, Leesburg, FL - Provides free air transport for persons with medical needs unobtainable locally; emergency relief flights following natural disasters. They work with 37 statewide shelters for victims of spousal abuse whose clients need immediate transportation away from the local area to a safe environment
E.C.H.O. - Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization - dedicated to fighting world hunger. We sponsor an intern at their headquarters in North Fort Myers
Heifer Project - We contribute to Grand Bayou Boat Rehabilitation, a project helping a Louisiana community of Native American heritage retain their way of life by repairing shrimp boats damaged in Hurricane Katrina, enabling them to earn income again and rebuild their lives
FOREIGN AID
Orphans’ Hope - We support Betty Gentry’s work as a nurse and missionary in Uganda
Our Little Roses - Sponsorship of an orphan in Honduras
Church of San Jose, Dominican Republic - We provide scholarships for church school students as well as for a graduate student to pursue higher education
Jaipur Children’s Aid, India - We help support a home for 17 boys from the slums of Jaipur, Rajasthan who are being raised in a Christian environment
R.E.A.C.H. Rwanda – A ministry helping families overcome the trauma caused by the conflict in that country
OUR WISH LIST
If our means allow, we would like to add the following two charities to our outreach:
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation - gives scholarships and financial aid to the children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations personnel who are killed in an operational mission or training accident
Quantum Leap Farms , Odessa, FL - a therapeutic riding stable, one of only nine in the U.S., serving injured veterans from Iraq, the Vietnam War, and the Korean War; also serves adults with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and the aftermath of stroke and head trauma
